KeebCats proudly presents... TX Springs.
Known amongst the community as one of the best aftermarket springs for switches, these stainless steel springs are compatible with Cherry MX switches of all flavours.
We have a variety of weights and three lengths; 14mm, 15mm & 16mm. The lower the weight, the less force is required to actuate the switch, and the higher the weight, the more force required. Truly the best way to find your preferred weight is to try them out!
The difference in height is that the bottom-out force remains the same between the three variants, but the actuation force for the 16mm switches is increased because it starts pre-compressed. This can be exceptionally good if you want to increase the tactility of tactile switches.
Comes in bags of 110 springs. The listed weights refer to the bottom-out weight of the spring.
We recommend lubing these with GPL 105 oil. For more info on lubing springs, see here under the Bag Lubing section.

You would think 1mm here and there wouldnt matter but o boy it really does. Never liked the feel of my custom switches so far. I now know that the problem is that they come with too short spring(14mm). They were to soft on top(making more typing mistakes) and to bottom heavy(annoying to hold them in, like in game). Longer springs solves this problem. Switch became more top heavy but at the same time easier push down further.
Gives linear switches a very unique feel, essentially transforming them into a really rounded tactile with the bump along the entire keypress, with a quick return and no noise coming from the spring with a light coat of lube. Since the initial force is higher, in my opinion, the spring weight listed is a lot lower than what the actual key press feels like. I ordered 57g springs and they feel quite close to 67g. So take that into consideration when buying these springs.
I’m on my 3rd pack of 67g TX longs now and I cannot look back. They make tactile switches feel super snappy and I’m also trying them in some linears and so far they feel great
I spoke to the team over at Keebcats on the discord to ask a few questions ahead of my first ever spring purchase. They were eager to help and knew exactly what I needed to understand. I subsequently purchased a pack of long 67g TX springs. They arrived within a couple of days in a padded envelope. These springs are incredible! I replaced the stock springs in my KS-3X47 Gat Yellows and wow these things are buttery smooth. No spring noise after a light lubing and the tension at the top of the key press is exactly what my sausage fingers needed! Thank you Keebcats, I will be purchasing some more soon x
